Happy St. Patricks Day everyone.
My kids were so happy to go to school today and wear green. They couldnt wait to find someone to pinch for not wearing green. I was going to color their milk in their cereal green this morning but thought it might not be worth the hassle of convincing them it still tasted the same.
It was a pretty laid back weekend for us. It was way to short though!! Steve and i had to give our first talks in our new ward so we spent saturday trying to prepare for that.. It's so funny i am usually the shy one and dont talk much and steve is the outgoing blabber mouth but the last 2-3 times we have talken in church i usually take up to much time and dont leave enough time for him.. Go figure.. Owell it went over ok i guess...
Steve left for chicago early this morning poor guy he was so tired. As much as i envy him sometimes for always getting to travel and eat out and not have to hang with the kids all day i feel bad for him and i am sure it is stressful for him to be gone all the time..
Saturday was fun i jogged 2 miles straight with allie on her bike riding behind me. I was pretty impressed i went that far without passing out. I'v never been much of a runner or jogger. I'v always rathered walking. My knee was talking to me the whole time though. I'v had surgery on it twice and it just doesnt seem to handle running very well. There are so many paths and trails here and there are so many trees its like walking in the forrest. It makes walking/ jogging so much more enjoyable.
Anyways that was our weekend.. Not too exciting. Hoping you all have a great st. patricks day, and may the luck of the irish bless you and your familys.
