Wooo Hooo 1 More day and it's back to Utah!!!! I cant wait to go home and see all our family and friends... It's been a crazy long day for us.. We have spent the day trying to pack everything and we still cant make everything fit.. And trying to get the house cleaned up and still havn't got it all done yet.. It's a good thing we have 1 more day.. Although tomorrow is a pretty booked day for us as well. I am going a lunch linger longer as they call it tomorrow after church for the choir members and then we have been invited to a family's house for dinner and hopefully get home early enough to get everyone in bed so we can all be up by 3:30 AM to leave.. It will be great not to half to worry about cooking anything.. I am pretty sad though because we have to leave our little Lucky dog behind in a kennel while we are gone and I just know he is going to think we abandoned him and feel sad and depressed himself.. We have never had to leave him before so its going to be tough.. It's like leaving one of your kids behind.. I just pray they take good care of him.. He will be so scared...
Well gotta go do some more packing... Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

Where has the time gone?
Oh my goodness I have been such a slacker lately with blogging.. Tis the season.. We have been so busy with all our school concerts and activitys and trying to get ready for christmas that the time has just flown by.. I swear it was just thanksgiving like the other day and now here we are 6 days away from Christmas.. Where has december gone??? It's like blink and you will miss it!!
We are so excited only 2 more days and we head to utah hopefully!! It has been snowing today and alot of flights have been cancelled and the airports here are a huge mess.. There is supposed to be another storm sunday and i am just praying that it doesnt mess up our flight out early Monday morning... The snow hasnt really accumalated here. It snows then it rains and alot of the time its a sleety mix so it just makes the roads a slick mess.. It will be nice to come to utah and really get to see what real snow looks like.. The kids are so excited that can hardly stand it.. We are all packing our snow outfits so we can play in the snow while we are there... From what I hear it supposed to snow most of the time that we are there.. I sure do miss the beautifulness of it. I am not to excited to be driving in it since we will be doing alot of that while we are there but its sure a nice change to what we have out here at least so far.....
We have Austins belt ceremony tonight for his rank advancement in karate.. He has worked so hard. We are very proud of him. And then we will be spending most of the weekend cleaning and packing and getting ready to leave so I may not find the time to get back on here so I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year..

Just a poem I wanted to share..
Heavens Gift
Heaven's gift has come to man. Mortal fate rests within tiny hallowed hands.
Shepherds singing, a shining star, Angels proclaiming, Kings bearing gifts from afar.
A scene of serene glory, The weight of a holy hush,The meaning of heaven's story,
'Twas God's first CHRISTmas gift to us.
'Twas God's first CHRISTmas gift to us.
Who would recall the power of that day, At the time when He was led away,
Bearing a crown, a robe, and fateful wounds? Was He not the gift from heaven's womb?
Shall we turn from that holy day and walk away unchanged?
Through plastic, tinsel, parties and gifts, Shopping, planning, and Christmas lights lit,
Can the simple gift be heard or seen, Or does it quietly fade behind holiday sheen?
Let us not forget that He loves us so. He loves us too much to let us go.
He sent a plan with his sacrifice to forgive and cleanse and give us life.
Embrace the greatest gift of all, don't let your sense of the manger wane.
The gift of heaven is yours to receive. It was the true reason He came.

Help Needed.. Prayer Poem
Ok I need help.. I need a poem about remembering to pray to go on a little tag to be tied onto a prayer doll we are making in Activity Days tonight.. I know short notice.. I have been searching the internet and cant seem to find anything that would really work.. Do any of you have a poem that might work. just something short and sweet that will only take up to maybe 6 lines at the most.
