2020 Halloween to Christmas

Oh my goodness it's been a whole year since i got on here and updated. Looks like i have alot of catching up to do as always. Well where to start. Looks like we left off in Oct of 2020 and now it is Oct 2021. Guess I will go back to where i left off in Oct 2020.

So we had a Halloween party. Aubry and Micky came down to party with us and stay the weekend. I think she was a wench. Micky didnt dress up.

Austin and Kenna dressed up as Sandy and Johnny from Grease.

Sara's was awesome she dressed as David Bowie. I just did some face makeup and Steve threw on one of our old costumes.  A knight or prince whatever it is.

 

We have Mario and LuigiQueen of hearts. Jessie was a zombie i think. Malmal was well pooh bear i guess.Not sure about Dallin.

We also played a game and went on a scavenger hunt. It was fun. We broke into teams and we had to take picts with each item on the list.

 

Of course there is always a puzzle going on.

Then came Austin's Birthday. We went to eat at Olive Garden

Also in October Staleen one of my best friends decided we needed to do a yearly girls trip. So we went to St. George this year. We stayed in an Airbnb that was cool. One of the rooms had a Harry Potter theme.    

We did lots of hiking while we were there. It was alot of fun. Got lost a few times but each time we got lost even though 99% of the time we were the only ones out there a random person would come along and we would yell out to them to help us get back on the right path we were supposed to be on. Kinda a blessing. No coincidences in the gospel right?

We made it to the top of the mountain. This was my favorite hike. Took us about 3-4 hours.

The owners of the condo were so cool and brought us some cookies while we were staying there. It was so nice of them.

 Just a random me to remember how young i looked at 45 and totally out of place.

We called this the stairway to Hell. Guess you could say to heaven, but it was more like Hell getting up them. This is not all of them. There were alot and our legs burned by the time we got to the top.

Ok I guess i like checking her backside too!! Haha

Johnsons Arch

 I had so much sand in my shoes all the time. Had to frequently dump them. The socks I had on kept slipping down and coming off my heel. It was so frustrating.

   

What better way to finish off the day then a nice swim and some relaxation in the Hot tub!

Then November is always birthday month around here. We already got Austins birthday, and now we have Steves. Big 47!  Not sure why they have the masks on. I guess we were so used to wearing them everywhere this year that you forget to take them off.  Lovely Covid!

Austin and Kenna got their puppy they had been waiting so long for. A mini Aussie! They named him Kenai.  He is so dang cute.

Didnt get much of Thanksgiving other then these. We decorated gingerbread houses after the big feast.

 

About Thanksgiving time Allie has started dating a new guy. His name is Camen Gray. He has long hair and he is big into sports.  Allie has been very hesitant to date again after a few bad relationships and getting hurt. However she seemed to hit it off pretty good with Camen and enjoyed their first date. He was very nice and considerate of her and has gone out of his way to do things for her and make her feel good. A win win for all our books, I think it was the 3rd or 4th date she brought him to meet us and play games with us. Even after meeting all of us he still keeps coming around so he must be a keeper.

Christmas Decor

 Poor Logan gotsome kind of infection that spread in her tooth and needed to have a root canal. We were hoping this would work and take care of the problem and she wouldnt need to have the tooth pulled.

Finally some snow! We have really had some mild winters lately. Hardly any snow to break out the snow blower, but this day We got enough.

 

Christmas Eve came and we had our traditional kid dollar store gift exchange, and then we watched the Polar Express.

  of course our traditional Christmas Morning shenanagins! I thought we did so good this year. We had our huge tv box blocking the entrance with 2 full size mattresses up against that with our jumbo love sac beanbags on top of that. We had to give them a little help because it was taking forever to have them get a small gap above the tv box to start climbing through.

And of course we were all standing at the to with our nerf guns loaded and ready to blast them as they started to make their way through.

Jessie got clever and found a shield to protect against the myraid of bullets showering down on her.

Grandpa got the mop out to attack them with as they came through.

Finally got to do a little ice fishing this year. Its been so warm the last couple years we havn't had much ice to go.

I thought this frozen snowflake was pretty.

Well That brings us to the end of 2020!  I'll start 2021 on a new post.
