So matts family came out during the summer to see family as they were moving to Ohio. So we got to spend a couple days with them.

So after attempting 4-5 different times to get Maya pregnant with no success we decided to get both doggies fixed. Ozzie was not a happy camper. He wanted to hide in my closet under the clothes.
Another fun activity we did a couple times was go up to Causey dam and paddle around. Didn't get any pictures besides this one. Such a pretty area.
So from proposal to wedding we had 6 weeks to plan and get everything ready for the big day.. Allie didnt want to get married in the winter, and with going to nursing school through the summer and fall she really didn't have much time off to have a wedding so she basically chose a 3 day weekend she could get off, and said let's do it. Talk about stress for the mother of the bride. With her busy schedule it was pretty much up to me to get things done with her and camens ok. We needed to get pictures for announcements done right away to try and get invites out on time. We literally didn't get them out tell like a week and a half before the wedding. Oh well these things happen when your crunched on time.
Allie and Camen decided to have me take pictures for their engagement announcements. I'm not a great photographer by any means but at least I am free. Guess it was good enough.
Then we needed to find a dress ASAP! We were really worried with alterations and everything we might not find one that could be ready in time. Grandma and I went with. Logan and Jessie both couldn't go and we were able to skype in her best friend Aubrey who lives in Colorado so that helped make Allie a little happier.
It was nice because Allie already had been looking online and had an idea of what she wanted for a dress and found the store where said dress was, so we went there and it turned out she didn't fall in love with the one she really thought would be the one, but we tried on several others from this same designer and line and found the perfect dress. There were actually 2-3 she really liked and was trying to decide from but we could tell when she had this one on that this was it. This made her sparkle and feel like a princess, so she said yes to the dress. What was even better was there was a seamstress right down the street that said she could get right on her dress to alter and have it done in a week so to be ready for her bridal pictures. Talk about this was meant to be.
It was a super fun quick shopping trip and to find the dress right off on the first stop was a blessing. She didn't have a whole lot of time to do much wedding planning with going to nursing school during the summer and still trying to work so we needed easy and simple stuff.
The day came for the bridals. Oh my heart! I could hardly bear it. My first baby girl getting married and she looked just like a princess. My heart leaped with Joy, and broke with sadness of having another child getting ready to leave the nest. Her photographer did a wonderful job. Their wedding video turned out so precious.

I loved this one I got on my phone because it was him watching her get her photos done and he just had this big smile on his face and throughout the pictures you could see just how much he loved her and that makes a mommas heart happy.
