2019

Ok so I am finally getting caught up. I got our 2018 done and will now get going on our 2019. This was a pretty busy year for us and lots of big changes for our family. Let's first start with my handsome nephews mission homecoming in January.  It was really strange because I had this dream that Kim and rich came over to our house to tell us Dallin was coming come the next day something to do with his age and that they didn't need him anymore. something like that. He still had like 2 or 3 months i think left. Well not more then a day or 2 later we got a message from kim and rich that Dallin was being sent home the next day due to an infection in his toe. He had been struggling with an ingrown toenail that they had done surgery on out in Mexico but it wasn't healing and he had gotten a staph infection and he couldn't really do the missionary work so they decided to send him home early and they seriously decided this the night before and sent him home the next day and Kim and rich didn't even know till dallin messaged them that night and said I'll be home tomorrow. Needless to say they were freaking out just a bit.

Then we had new beginnings for the young women and Allie is in the presidency so they put on a little wizard of oz theme. It was super cute and she did a great Dorothy.

Then came Jessie's big 17 Birthday. She was a good sport because it was also a surprise birthday party for a good friend of ours that used to be in the ward Jared Harrison (red sugar) so she shared her day with celebrating him.  They had a photo wall there so the girls had a little fun and took advantage.

Silly girls never a dull moment!

Then we decided to host a murder mystery dinner for Allie, Austin, Collin and their dates. Collin had set up Austin with a friend of his down at Snow college and they hit it off pretty well. Mostly alot of talking on the phone and then occasionally they would drive down for the weekend and go out. I think this was their 2nd date but they were already liking each other quite a bit by then.  Allie date was a guy from our ward and neighborhood Conner Bennion.  He was a riot during the mystery date. He really got into character.

The school teacher and the town drunk doctor.

 They had alot of fun.
Steve and I got to take our last trip to Hawaii for Steve's work. Steve was getting ready to quit his job with Novo Nordisk and take a new position with Novartis which meant no more work trips to Hawaii. BOO HOO. This makes me super sad. Since this has been like my 2nd home. I love it there.

We got to hang out with Matt and Chandra and kids for a couple days while we were there. They are stationed there with the air force for a few years. they are so lucky. Surfing every Wednesday.

Did a little kayaking up a river. saw some turtles and a manta ray.

Chandra was able to take me out early one morning to a beach where they frequently see dolphins and get to swim with them. It was so incredible. I LOVE LOVE LOVE dolphins. I always have. So this was a dream of mine and it was incredible. We followed them around for quite a while. We got some good video.

Seriously whats not to love about this place.

We got to go to the base Matt works on and see some cool stuff. We got to see actual bullet holes in the buildings that are still standing from pearl harbor. Very cool.

 NCIS

Then for Spring break we went down to St. George while Steve had to work there for a couple days. We took Malorie with us and went and did a little hiking.

There was some caverns that were very narrow. We barely for. your chest rubs against the one wall and your butt slides against the back wall. Not for the claustrophobic type.

Coming out of the cavern.            Oh silly Logan. not sure about her.

We had incredible views of the St. George valley and temple.

On our way home we decided to stop off in Zions national park and do some more hiking. It had been years since we had been there. Logan and Mal wernt even born when we were there last.

 don't ask because I really don't know.

So we decided it was finally time to buy another boat. We had missed having one since we left Utah and traveled around for a few years and now that we were back we decided it would be fun to have one again. We found an older boat that had been taken care of meticulously. Was in really good shape.

We decided to take it out to the bay for the first time to see how it handles and drives since we had never had a boat like this where the motor is different. This was in April. Not sure what we were thinking it was still a bit cold and Austin and Collin thought they were tough and would try skiing in wet suits.  Ya it was a bit to cold. Austin struggled. Then it got to choppy with a storm coming in so we got off the water.
Jessie was finishing up the spring playing for her comp team Lightening. We played at the perry city complex and I guess a water line had broke and flooded the field the night before but we still played on it. Made for a crazy game. The ball would go no where and the girls were struggling to kick it up out of the water.  They got so wet.

Also in April Austin told us he had found his one eternal companion in Mckenna and he wanted to ask her to marry him.  He first told us this in like the end of Feb or March. I was seriously crying. They had only gone out like 3 times. I thought it was way to fast and they hardly gotten to know each other, but he said he had prayed about it and felt good about it and I guess who can argue with that.  So in April he decided to go down to Snow College to surprise her. She was starring in a play the college theater dept was putting on and it was the final show so after the play he was going to walk out on the stage and surprise her. Well they ended up having a cast party in another one of the theaters so he had decided to decorate it up with the help of some friends and purpose there.

Of course he had to get in a little practice first with Collin.

 The ring

Also during this time Allie was dating a guy that she felt was the one also. They had become quite serious and was talking wedding plans too.  However it must have not been meant to be. He had some serious mental issues that kinda came out during their trip to Disneyland with the college choir and they ended up breaking up and it was a super sad time for Allie. She already had a hard time with the idea of marriage and with some self esteem issues with her diabetes and celiacs and Adam pretty much opened up some fresh wounds with that.  She was pretty heart broken.  He was a super nice guy and very polite but just has some mental challenges that is not fair for Allie to have to deal with for the rest of her life.
Not sure what this one was about. Thinking it may have just been a picture if Jessie in her exhaustion from soccer.   She was excited that she was taller then Allie in this moment although i believe she had hills on.

so Collin brought over his side by side to show the girls and take them for a ride. it was raining and it was muddy out on the roads but they didn't care they were having a blast.

We took the 4-wheelers out on some trails in Perry canyon. We had never been on them before and wanted to do a little exploring.

We found this cute little waterfall up there on one of the roads.

At the end of May we went out to the spiral jetti with the Bott's and the Labrums after church. I had never been there. It was pretty cool to see. The water was pink and you could walk out for miles and it would still stay shallow. I am sure the pink water was due to the salt content in the water.

Also the last week of May and of school Jessie decided to get in a car accident. We had alot of construction going on on hwy 89 in front of our sub division and it was stop and go and she was following to close and hit the car in front of her that was a girl that had just gotten her license the week before. The sad part was the repair cost more then the car was worth but we did it anyway.. We ended up selling the car but just barely broke even which sucks and then the parents of the girl are making us pay almost $800 for the little hole it put in there bumper and medical bills for their daughter for physical therapy for her back which seriously I don't believe she was hurt at all. But owell.
The boys went and bought a raft that they have been using and going up to mantua to go fishing.
So Jessie had summer games down in cedar city so we went and took grandma and went to a touchan play while we were there. it was so cool. I had never seen one before and we saw when you wish and they did a fantastic job. We decided we are going to make it a yearly tradition to go and see a toucan play and stay in st. George as a girls trip..

Jessie and her crazy leg muscles. she had to show them off to the army guys that were hosting the rock wall at the summer games fun.
This crazy storm came in right as the summer games was beginning to start. There was thunder and lightning and alot of people were leaving. We were all on bleachers so it made us a bit nervous. We stuck it out. there wasn't much shelter so we got a bit wet and it was a little chilly. They had a pretty cool firework show after.

So I did something really stupid. So Adam was over one Saturday and we all decided to go out and enjoy some sun and play a little soccer in the yard in bare feet. Ya not so smart. I tripped over the ball and my foot stayed planted and my toe bent back towards the foot. Man did it hurt. I figured I just sprained it or something but after 2-3 months of still hurting I had it xrayed to find I broke a bone underneath the joint of the big toe and I still have probs with it hurting. They gave me a cortizone shot in it but it still hasn't helped. Not sure what they can do for it.

just playing around with an app that makes you look old. Or you can add other things. It will be interesting to look back in about 30 years and see how close we look.

Austin made for a pretty girl though.

While being down there in Cedar we got to stop in and see cousin Hal. He's my moms cousin. And he has tons of old collectibles. His house was amazing. He prob had 30-50 old juke boxes and other collectors items. Ice cream scoops, slot machines, old barber chairs, old telephone booths. Just tons of very cool stuff. He had a garage near by that had some old cars he has been working on as well as more juke boxes it was pretty cool.

So I was in charge of doing a wedding shower for Kenna and also the wedding luncheon so I had this great idea to make a back drop that we could use at both events. Kim helped me and she is very talented in crafty stuff so she did the flowers for me. I think it turned out pretty good. Kim is very talented and everything she does always turns out good. I wish I had her talent.

I did do all the centerpieces for the tables though.

Austin and Kenna got their engagement pictures done. They turned out so cute.

This was Austin whispering her something inappropriate and making her laugh.

One of my favs. You can see the love in this one i think.

 They are so cute together.

The invitation turned out pretty cute.
Logan had her 15th birthday. She wasn't very excited. There is usually girls camp and youth conference and then our family camp trips on her birthday and she wasn't happy to share her birthday with them.

Girls camp service project.

They got to go rock repelling for girls camp. How fun is that.

Lake Powell. I hadn't been camping here since Jessie was a baby.

It was so hot there we were dyeing. You literally had to stay in the water to stay cool. the nights were miserable. Rich ended up tearing his hamstring which was not good and he could barely walk. Then when it came time to go home we had to have the boat decontaminated which took us like 4-5 hours  and we ended up tearing the spare tire off the boat, so we got a very late start home. Seems there's always something that happens every camping trip, and we definitely had our share again this summer.

On a positive note there was something Logan was excited for turning 15. She got her driving permit so that was exciting. NOT!!

we took another trip the very next week p to the uintahs to a new place we haven't been before called Whitney reservoir. It was a fun place. Austin, Dallin and Collin drove up a couple days before and got a sweet camp spot.

The boys got some great fish.

I even caught a couple. I think mine was the biggest as always.

It was our first trip riding our new side by side we bought. I really like the side by side.

lots of places and trails to ride on.

My babe overlooking the beautiful valley.

we hiked down the side of this mountain and found a river that still had some ice and snow over it. Ozzie went nuts trying to roll around and rub his back on the snow.

so then it came time for the First Look wedding photos.

I kind of liked having a separate day other then the wedding day to take pictures and capture the first look. Makes it so its not so busy with photos on the wedding day. My handsome son getting ready for the first look.

Makenna was so stunning in her dress. It was perfect for her. I had a super hard time controlling the emotions on this day.

He teared up like a baby. Which of course made me tear up like a baby. Heck I tear up just thinking about it and writing this.

The photos turned out so beautiful despite the crazy wind we were fighting all night. Several times her veil flew off or her hair was flying everywhere but the photographer did a great job. I am so happy that Austin found someone who makes him so happy, and wanted himself to be worthy to marry in the temple, and so happy to be getting a beautiful daughter in law.

This was my favorite photo and the funny thing was that her mom and I was standing on each side of them holding her dress out because of the wind and we were worried it would blow back into the water so we were holding it and then they just cropped us out of the picture and it ended up being my favorite one.

In July we had her Bridal Shower. I had put in alot of work for it and bought a bunch of games for it. We made alot of yummy snacks, Prizes, party favors, and I had my neighbor that was one of my young women when i was in, and who is very talented in chalk drawing draw the chalk board for the shower and for their wedding.
I was a little worried how the shower would turn out because makennas mom and I were not on the best of terms at this time.  There was a mis- understanding with the endowment day at the temple and her mom thought I was out to get them i guess, and didn't think I cared about makenna or her side of the family and being there at the temple, and thought I had tried to make it so more of our family could be there instead of hers which was the farthest thing from the truth, and she had said some things that was very hurtful to me by saying that I had some balls or kahoneys for doing this, and that I had  lied to her, and she didn't want kenna's feelings to not be considered and basically thought makenna was going to have a monster in law. Which if anyone knows me was the farthest from the truth. I love her like she is my own child and I would never do or say anything to hurt her or not make her feel like she was not a part of this family or that her feelings would not matter. I tried so hard to apologize for the misunderstanding and making her feel like that was my intentions, but at the time she was not wanting to hear it.

So needless to say it was like walking on egg shells the whole time. It was mostly her family that attended since we didn't have a whole lot from our side.  Her mom hardly said one word to me the day of the endowment and our family was pretty divided at the temple nor did she talk to me at the shower except as she was leaving thanking me, and said i had put alot of work into it,which was nice of her,  so it was kind of awkward, but alas we did it and it turned out nice for kenna i think.

I think by the wedding she had finally gotten over most of it for the kids sake and she was fairly nice to us and talked a little with us.  Still makes me feel bad that she was so quick to judge me and think so harshly of me and I felt super bad that there was turmoil and stress being put on the kids with their mothers not getting along when we had i thought a pretty good relationship before. When they were dating and getting serious we had gone out to dinner a couple times with her parents and thought we were pretty good friends up until the whole endowment thing happened.

I know her mom was super stressed at the time with working as a nurse full time and being in the last year of school getting her nurse practitioner degree and trying to plan a wedding that she didn't have the time to do a whole lot of personal touch on, so I get that she was pretty stressed and I think she felt a little bad that I was able to put the effort into the shower and decorations for the wedding luncheon and she couldn't do as much. I would be stressed and feel bad too.

It was alot of work and stress and I had the easy part of the whole thing. I don't even want to know what its going to be like when my girls get married.

Maya being silly

Then came our annual Flaming Gorge trip. We all couldn't wait. This was the first year in a few years where we had all of us up there together again with Dallin and Allie being on missions.
The fighting is already beginning. Haha just kidding.

We had Collin, Kenna and Kenzee and cousin Olivia with us so we had a full house up there.

Austin catching some air.

Poor Kenna she has never boarded or skii'd before so she kept trying and trying and even Steve got out there with her like he used to with the kids when they were small trying to help them get up but she just didn't have the upper strength to hold on and let the boat pull her up and she just kept letting go.   With not knowing how it should feel to let the boat do the work and just pull you up and knowing how to turn your legs out to the side she just couldn't get it and it was so frustrating for her. She was in tears by the time she got back in the boat because she was so frustrated.  But she will get it next time. It just takes practice and just once of getting up and knowing how its supposed to feel then she will have it.

Dallin had a good wipeout.

Collin had mad skills at boarding. His family has a boat so he has had several years of experience and he could seriously get some wicked air. We got some good video of him jumping the wake.

So the Harrisons (red sugar) came up with their boat too and came and played with us for a couple days. He taught us how to wake skate and surf. Well everyone but me, I wasn't on the boat with them. Everyone loved it so much that now they want a wake skate too.

Of course we cant have a camping tip without some issues. The dogs both got sick while being up there. They were eating the dry weedy grasses up there that ended up scratching their throats and causing them to wretch and throw up and I ended up taking Ozzie into the vet clinic there to be checked out and put on meds and then the next day Maya started doing it too. It was not fun having 2 sick dogs up there. Then Rich ends up blowing the axle out on his tire again on the boat trailer on our way home so he had to back up the freeway onto the on ramp which was super scary and he didn't want Kim or us there when he did it so he was going to drop off the trailer to a mechanic shop who could hopefully fix it later in the week since it was the weekend and after hours and nobody was open to help us.   Theres always got to be something.

Well this year was Jessie's year. After trying out for the High school Soccer team and not making it her freshman, sophomore, and her junior year and she was really considering not even trying out this year, because she knew there were not many spots open and there were a lot of good freshman coming in who would no doubt make the team, she reluctantly decided to try out one more time since finding out they would have a sophomore team this year which would give her a better chance of possibly making it, and after being the team manager of the soccer team last year and being able to practice with them she had improved so much and she finally did it. She made the team.. We were so nervous after tryouts. The coach told her after the first day that she needed to step it up and that tomorrow she would be competing against this girl that she needed to beat so she was super nervous. and the 2nd day of tryouts at the end she ended up scoring a goal which earned her a spot on the team.

when I drove her down to the Nat to check the list of those who made it I was so nervous and scared for her, because I didn't want her to be let down again. She had said she would be fine with it either way but I know she was really wanting it and had worked so hard for it and would be devastated again if she didn't make it.  It was taking her along time to come back to the car and I was dyeing inside. Finally I saw her and she kinda had on a sad face and I was like oh no not again but as soon as she opened the door she let it out and said she made it and I just started crying for her. I was so happy for her. I still cry thinking about it. What can i say i am an emotional mom.

Prob one of the best days of her life right here. This was going to be an awesome Senior year for her.

Soccer camp. She had a blast.

She had to drink goat milk,, Blah

Well it was wedding time and I was on go mode. We went over the night before to decorate the gym at the church up. We barely got the back drop in the doors. We had to do a little disassembling to get it though them but we made it.  I think it turned out quite nice. And thankful to all my family who was there to help us set up. Couldn't have done it without them.

Matt was able to fly in and be with Olivia for the wedding so it was awesome to have them there with us. Wish the whole family could have been there but Sammy had some gymnastic competitions.
Collins mom and sister ran the whole show for us at the wedding luncheon making sure all the food was ready and stocked, and helped clean up. They were amazing.

The day had finally arrived.

The ceremony was so beautiful. Had some issues with Kenna not having the live ordinance part of the recommend with her. Apparently the Brigham temple that they had their endowments out at had kept that part of the recommend and wasn't supposed to so they were trying like mad to get Brigham temple to fax it over and Brigham fax was down and was having issues so it took quite a while to get everything taken care of and we were pretty late getting started and then Austin forgot his ring so he had to borrow Chads makennas dads ring, while we frantically were trying to get a hold of Collin to bring Austins ring with him and meet us at the temple after the ceremony.  Ah fun things to remember about the day.. LOL

It was beautiful though and of course I was a mess. I cant even begin to tell you how hard it is to see you one and only boy get married and know he is leaving home and stating his new life. It's so bittersweet.  Over the past couple years Austin and I have gotten really close as I have been the one home dealing with all his seizures he had every day at school and I feel like we have a very strong bond between us. So much so that I swear I can feel the things he feels at times. Like my body would be exhausted and drained after every seizure he had and I wasn't even the one having them.  So it was really hard on this day knowing I would not be the only woman in his life now and that someone else was going to take over that part of his life now, and it was super super hard. I knew it would come, but I didn't like it.  But Oh what a beautiful day it was for them.

The girls on their way to the temple.

Coming out of the temple as husband and wife.

They did it...

I love the look on his face as he came out and saw his sisters standing there. I kinda think he thought they were beautiful.

The whole families.

Grand parents on his side. My parents. Steve's parent had already left because Nancy couldn't be out in the sun so they got pictures at the reception with them.

Grandparents on her side. They are the sweetest. I love her moms parents. They are so sweet and loving and they adore Austin and they were so nice to me at the temple and when everything was going down between Makennas mom and i. she was always hugging me and winking at me at the endowments and bridal shower to let me know that she still loved us and that she was ok with me and that meant the world to me.

Makenna and the groomsmen.

She liked it so she put a ring on it!!

Pretty great looking men there.

sweet kiss from her brothers.

Our new addition!

The cousins!

The bridesmaids

Best of friends. (brothers)

Makenna got all the sisters a special necklace for the wedding day.

All the sisters. So pretty.

My second most favorite photo of them.

They had the reception at the Grand View in Ogden. I didn't even know this place existed. They did a great job. Some of the decoration was Makennas moms that she got. And I really didn't like how they rushed them through their cake cutting and dance and garter throw and bouquet toss. Everything was very rushed at the end and they were basically being pushed out the door so they could clean up and go home on time. Kind of disappointing for them because there was still people who wanted to visit with them and they really didn't get any time for their dance and was just very rushed. Other then that it was nice.

Cousin Alex was a riot and kept us all laughing with his dance moves.

A different way to give the wedding bouquet away. She had to cut the ribbons blind folded so to speak and the last ribbon remaining got the bouquet.
The rings.
Some of the decorations.

Jessie and Olivia.

Alex always checking himself out in the mirrors.

The couples first dance.

The cake cutting. They did a pretty great job.

The Garter toss. It was a pretty weak toss on Austins part, but Alex was all ready to catch it.

Sara did an awesome job going around and filming the reception for us and asking some of the family for advice for the newly weds.

Here's the picture of the 2nd set of grandparents on our side. Steve's parents.
Saying good bye after the reception to send them on their way.

This picture really pulls on the heart strings because I can see how much Steve loves Austin and how  he is feeling.

And off they went.. And so did a big part of my heart.. I know its not like he's dead or anything but still.....
They went to Hawaii for their honeymoon and the coolest thing they went and did was go down in a shark cage to see some very large sharks. Not sure I would be brave enough to do that.

Logan always trying some new concoction for a face mask. She is always so ocd crazy on her face and keeping her complexion nice.
Our senior lady stinger bee and some of her soccer highlights.

Time for school to start again.

Jessie's last year of high school, Logan's first year at high school as a sophomore.

Allies 3rd year at Weber State. Didn't get one of Austin for nhis first day and year 3 at Weber State now that he's an old married man. Waaa

Peach days came and this year I didn't do a senegence booth and was kicking myself, because no body else did one either so I would have made some good money had i done it. but the last 2 years there were a few of us doing them so we were all competing against each other. Owell it was nice to be able to walk around and go to the car show with my bestie. Reo has been my best friend since we moved to santaquin utah in 1999. She lived across the street from us and her kids are close in age to are 3 youngest. Man how I missed her when we moved away but the nice thing about our friendship is even through miles away and years without seeing each other when we get together its like we just pick up where we left off. I will always cherish her friendship and will probably never have on like her again. I don't make friends easily and every place we moved it took at least a year to find someone to hang out with and call my friend but sadly they never lasted, but reo has and always will.  I still haven't found anyone here in Perry to hang with and do things with and I have been here for 4 years now. Its really kind of sad.

Reo has been through a divorce and has been a single mother for a few years now raising her kids on her own and has done a damn fine job of it. She has been through hell and back, has had health problems with a tumor in her thyroid and still struggles. She is by far my Hero!!  I pray that she finds love again and will truly be happy.

We had another great peach season. Our peaches are so sweet and delicious. I was getting pretty sick of all the canning, and salsa making, and jalapeno jelly making. I cant keep up with all the produce we get from our trees and garden. But grateful we have it. Sometimes. ;)

We are so proud of her.

She also decided to play in the powder puff football game this year. She got to play quite a bit. Seems like the soccer players got to play alot more then some of the others. Seniors triumphed over the juniors.

A little out of order but the week before school we tried to do one more last camping trip of the year and go back up to whitney lake in the uintahs and meet my parents up there. We didn't get any pictures up there because we only got 1 night up there and the next day we were heading out on our first trail ride in the side by side and wheelers and I had Ozzie on my lap as I was driving the side by side and we had just barely started going and he was standing on my lap putting his arms up on the door sticking his head out in the wind like he always did. He loves riding in the side by side but suddenly he either pushed off or leaned out to far and I didn't have a hold of him and he went out. I instinctively grabbed him by the fur of his back but didn't have a good hold and was afraid I would hurt him by holding him there so I thought I had him out far enough from the side by side that I could let go but the back tire ran up over him.

He let out the most horrible schreech and cries. It was the saddest thing I had ever heard. I felt soo soo bad. We thought he had broke his leg because he was holding it up and not walking on it and just kept crying out every time we tried to move him.  We had to jump into my dads truck and take him down to the animal clinic in Evanston. We had called Ruth to see where a good place to take him was since she lived there. She met us once we got there and stayed with us. We had xrays done and found out he had broken his pelvis in several different areas, and would need to have surgery to have a plate put in, however they didn't do the surgeries there. So aunt Ruthie gave us her car for me and my mom to take him to Layton where the animal hospital was that our veterinarian recommended us to.

They had to put a plate in up in the illium area where the weight bearing part of the hip is in hopes he would heal and still have full use of his leg.  It was so incredibly sad and expensive. Given he was only 1 year old and still nothing serious wrong with him other then this break there was really no good reason to put him down so we went ahead with the surgery.

This time they added a second plate and screws to hopefully re enforce the other one. After 24 hours of getting him home from his 2nd surgery he had developed an infection and was not doing good so we had to take him back into the hospital where they admitted him again for a couple more days and get him on intravenous antibiotics.  This poor guy had a very rough month and so did this momma.

At his 10 day check it was still in place and he was doing good so hopefully when we go back in in a couple more weeks for his 8 week check everything will still look good .
So right now we are taking him down a couple times a week back to Layton for physical rehab to hopefully regain the use of his leg. He still hold it up alot when hes walking around the house and yard but when we take him out for walks on the leash he will walk on it so we are trying to build up his muscle and hope he will soon start using it all the time. The doctor said it could take months to get full use of it and still may at times hold it up and not use it. We have sure paid alot to not have him get full use of it so we are hoping for the best. He gets to wear these cool goggles why he has the light laser done.

His poor best friend Elliott next door misses playing with his buddy. One morning as we were out doing his potty break Elliott was trying to escape under the fence to get to Ozzie. It was so cute.

No idea where this was taken or when so who knows.

So Allie's best friend and our adopted daughter from Michigan has decided to get married and since her family lives out of state she really wanted me and Allie to be there to go wedding dress shopping with her so we did. We took her to Logan where she had seen a dress online that she loved and that ended up being the dress she picked. She was super happy.

On one of our therapy walks around the neighborhood we went on the canal road and Maya decided to jump in and go for a swim the dang dog and then I saw what she was swimming by. umm nope we were out of there pretty quick. This was a tarantula.

Maya is such a needy loving dog, but she is a good dog.  And that has brought us to the end of my catch up for 2019. Now we are to the present Oct 9th and will continue to get on her and blog every so often for the rest of the year and get a book made up.

Jessie has a state championship game tomorrow and we are planning on going down to st. George this weekend to have the other girls see the tuchan play and go on a hike while we are there. It will be a nice break to get some warmer weather for a day since it is in the freezing temps here. And then next week we ore off to FLORIDA for a much needed fall break and to go see the Harry Potter world. We are so excited so stay tuned.
