February 2016 Already. Wow I got alot of catching up to do. These pictures actually start back off where I left off in 2015 About April.

I have spent the last couple of days looking over some of my published blog books and photo albums I have made over the last few years and decided I really need to get back on here and do better at posting regularly. It's like keeping a journal and I was thinking of my posterity and how I am leaving a little something behind that talks all about my life and my family and what we did and went through, so I am really going to try and make an effort this year to get back on here more often and do some journaling. With that said I have alot of catching up to do to get caught up from where I last left off last year to the present day so here it goes.

Now to make sure I add these pictures from oldest to present so they get in the right order.. Ok to start from where we left off. We decided to build a house in Perry verses buying because there just wasn't much coming up on the market that we liked so we went against our better judgement and decided to build again. It was a much better experience this time around then it was the last time but still we are kicking ourselves wondering why we did it. The hassle and stress that comes with it and trying to get them to finish the jobs and come back is ridiculous. We have been in the house for 6 months and we still are not completely done. ugh!! Anyways these got a little out of order but you will figure it out. We decided to build in Perry because land was a little cheaper out here plus we would be close to family to go do things with even though it meant a longer drive to the airport for Steve. And of course me because I usually have to go get him every week. But its the price we decided to pay to be near family.

One of the issue you face building in the early spring. Still dealing with snow and rain. no wonder our floors squeak.

We had a full orchard that our property was on which was nice to be able to have some instant peach trees.

Good thing we had family here to constantly check on the building of the house since we still was living in Idaho.

The last day of School since we were most likely going to be moved by Logan's birthday her friends decided to plan a surprise party for her. She was so surprised and so touched that she teared up when they jumped out to surprise her. Makes the mama heart strings hurt to know how much she is going to miss her friends. The kids have had to move so much over the past 10 years and it has been hard to make friends then have to move away from them.

Our baby finally did it. She graduated from Highschool. We are so proud of her. She has had all A's her whole school life thus far. She is so smart and works so hard. It was so awesome because my brother Shane and his girlfriend Terry was able to drive up from Utah and be there and stay the night. He has never came out to see us before so we felt pretty lucky.

Austin went down right after school got out to Stay with Kim and Rich Steve's brother so he could work in the summer and play football for the school. However he started having some pain in his heart while he would do anything physical. He had to spend part of the summer wearing a heart monitor and having tests done so they wouldn't let him play in any of the games until everything checked out fine with the heart doctor and then finally when everything cleared and they didn't find anything he ended up breaking his arm again in practice and so there went his football season. Poor kid.

It was hard to be living away from him and not being in the same house through the summer. Jessie went down to live with my mom not too long after that so it was just Allie, Logan and I at home and then Steve on the weekends. We were driving down almost every weekend to check on the house.

Steve got to sit in one of his managers car while on one of his business trips. Oh man would he ever be in trouble if he got one of these. He has a fancy for speed and tries to drive our mini van likes its a race car. No wonder its falling apart.

Allie also graduated from Seminary. Super proud considering for 2 years seminary was at 6:00 in the morning for her in michigan and she would have to get up at 4:30 to get ready every morning. The kids who went to seminary really wanted to be there and was dedicated. It made a tremendous difference in Allie and her testimony of the gospel. Through moving around so much in her older years as a teen it sure shaped her to who she is today. Being the only mormon in her class in Jersey and having to stick up for herself and her beliefs, and then a very few in MI again. she is an incredible, and strong young woman.

So since the boys went on an Alaskan fishing trip with Rich, Steve's brother and his son Dallin A boys trip and one last trip before Dallins mission, we decided we needed a girls trip for Allies graduation and before she leaves on her mission as well so we went to the beautiful state of Hawaii. We took along grandpa to be our cheuffer and body guard.

We arrived on the beautiful island of Oahu.

Allie thought it would be fun to bury me in the sand.

They had an awesome firework display from the beach that night.

The next day we mad our way around the island to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Had to stop off for some pictures on the way.

And right next door to the PCC is the Temple so we had to stop in there too.

When we first got to the PCC it was pouring we were hoping it wasn't going to be like this all day. However it ended up being pretty decent.

All the different islands put on a little dance or hakka that correlates with their island on boats as they float down the river.

Also they each have an area where they have displays and demonstrations of their islands culture.

This is Samoa. They demonstrate how to climb coconut trees get and shuck coconuts and crack them open to drink and eat then use the shells for tools and weapons. Also how they make baskets with the palm leaves. They did a little fire dancing.

They had an area where you could go practice your spear chucking skills.

We were able to go to a luau dinner while we were there.

and then finished up the night going to the Ha Breath Of Life Show that all the islands and students from BYU there participate in that tells about their culture. Its an awesome show.

Next day we went out to see the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. However a couple days before One of the boat drivers ran into the dock attached to the memorial so they had to close down the memorial so nobody was allowed to get on to go see it so we were just ferried out on boats past it so we could see and take pictures that way. I was really bummed for Allie because my parents and I had already been out there to see it but she hasn't and its such a different experience to actually go out on the memorial and see the marble wall with all the names of the marines that were trapped in the ship and went down with the ship. It is such a humbling and spiritual feeling. And to see the ship below you in the water it quite the sight.

We had lunch here at the memorial before we were to catch our plain over to Maui. I think we got a touch of food poisoning or something. It hit mom first on the plane and we were not sure she was going to make it, and then once we got to the airport and got the rental car Grandpa started feeling sick as well. We had to make a few stops on the way to the condo for the both of them and barely made it to the condo then grandpa threw up so violently he hit his head on the toilet. Poor guy. Allie and I started feeling a bit queezy too that evening, but were able to keep our stomachs down and sleep it off.

Grandpa had a heck of a trip this time. Between hitting his head on the toilet, and then mom slamming the trunk door to the car on his head, then getting stabbed with a knife in the condo when I accidentely dropped it, then Allie tried to wipe him out on the beach when her boogie board slipped out from under her and shot out under his feet and almost tripped him, so he had a rough time and said he was never going on a trip with just us women again and that next time it was Steve's turn. LOL

This was a cool little vine forrest area on the way down to one of the beaches we snorkeled at. We had to play tarzan for a little while.

This was a cool little scenic pull out that we happened to see some huge turtles on the beach heading towards the water.

This was the 7 pools of Olina. A few years ago when Steve and I with my parents came here we were allowed to jump off the top of the cliffs here and swim, but this year they had it all closed off to the public because of dangerous conditions due to the tides being so high. So we couldn't even go down to the rocks to get pictures. It was a bummer.

This was one of the beaches we tried boogie board surfing on but the waves were getting so high and forcefull cant tell from the pictures but we would get slammed into the sand then dragged under in the current and got pretty scraped and beat up so we gave up. At one point I had my swimsuit top ripped off.

This was a bamboo forrest we went hiking through. Grandma and grandpa could only go part way then it got really muddy and steep so Allie and I ventured off on our own for a little while. We were able to hike to one of the hidden waterfalls that was really beautiful, however it was quite a challenge getting there wading through waist high swift water and trying to cross the river jumping from rocks and logs trying not to fall in.

This was some of the rocks we had to get across and some of the river we had to wade across to get to the other part of the trail to get to the waterfall.

This was one of the only waterfalls left that they were allowing the public to jump and swim from. we had a blast. I think we jumped twice.

This was a really awesome beach but you cant really swim here there is so much lava rock everywhere and the waves come in high over here and crash against the lava rocks and produce some big sprays. It's cool to watch. And some of the little rock pools you will find some fish in and crabs.

We had some amazing sunsets at our condo. We were at the pool side restraunt here eating when we caught this beauty.

Just call me cinderella. Grandpa had some trail mix nuts that I would sit out on the deck and feed the birds with. We had several at one time. It became a ritual that they would come in the mornings to eat at our balcony. One even got into the condo and we had to chase it out.

While snorkeling along the condos beach looking for sea glass we found this little guy and he was alive.

One of the best things about being on Tropical Islands is the wonderful yummy fruit we can get and eat. The mango and pineapple were awesome. Wasn't to excited about the papaya this time. Didnt taste so good.

Along one of the beaches on the boardwalk along Lahaina the tourist area where all the shops are was a seal that had came out to sun bathe. They wouldn't let us go down near it but we could stay up above and take pictures.

One of the best activities we did was go zip lining on the flying hawaiian zipline. It is one of the biggest zip lines in the world. It crosses over 8 canyons. It was such a blast.

Allie borrowed a friends Gopro and brought it with us so we were able to get some cool underwater pictures.

We did get to see a bunch of fish as we snorkeled.

We even had just a little scare when a turtle swam right past us against our legs and we thought it was a shark.

There were tons of turtles here over against the rocks but we couldn't get very good pictures of them.

Well all good things must come to an end. We had a 5 hr delay with our first flight so we had alot of time to kill. Plus we were not flying out originally till like 10 PM so it was now like 3AM by the time we left, then we had another 3 hour layover in Atlanta till out next flight into Boise so we were exhausted by the time we finally made it home in the late afternoon early evening the next day.

Also in May/June Steve's company had their last area trips for the top managers and reps that didnt make it to COE, but were still in the top 10% so we got to go to Sandiego California and spend a few days relaxing. It was nice we stayed in a old, old hotel that alot of the super stars have stayed in. The Hotel Del Coranado It was on a little private island in Sandiego. While we were there we went sea kayaking. The weather was kinda cold while we were there and we thought we would freeze out butts of on the water, but it actually wasn't too bad. Thankfully we didn't have to get to wet.

When we came down to Utah for one of our many trips through the summer to check on the house we went and had a fun day at Boondocks.

Logan really wanted to stay up in the Idaho home with us until her birthday so she could have a party with her friends before she left, so we were able to have a party for her with her friends.

Jessie got her braces off just in time to move.

Jessie ended the season of her first year of soccer. She absolutely loved her coach and team, and most of all her best friend Clare and she is going to have such a hard time leaving them.

We finally decided to move down on the 30th of June since we were going back and forth so much already. We moved in with my parents where we stayed until the house got finished enough we could move in which was the 2nd week of October.

This was our caravan down to utah. The movers had all our big stuff stored in warehouses for us. We had a horrible trip down. We got a late start that night and left around 8 or 9 and just outside of mountain home we got a flat on the motorhome. Right on the busy part of the freeway where there our lots of Semis. We pulled off as much as we could but it was still scarry because every time a semi went by it would just rock the motorhome. Plus we were pulling the big long 4wheeler trailer behind us with all the wheelers and kayaks loaded on it. Plus it was record breaking highs so it was in the 100's so it was bloody hot. We had a horrible time trying to get the tire off and we couldnt get the trap door where the spare was located off We tried calling our insurace company to get some road side assistant but because it was after hours they wanted to charge us an arm and a leg and it would take 4 hours for them to get to us so we decided to forget it we would try and do it ourselves. So I drove back to mountain home a 45 min drive to see if I could get some tools to help us, but they didn't have the right sizes of what we needed so I had to drive back. After hours of working on it Steve finally got it loose just to find out that the spare was flat so we had to drive back to mountain Home to get it filled up. Once we finally got it all back on and done it was like 4 in the morning so we drove to Burley and pulled over and tried to get a couple hours of sleep because we were so exhausted.

Then get this we woke up and got back on the road and not more then 20 minutes into the drive we blew another tire on the motorhome. This was so ridiculous, and it was like 103 outside. At least this time we knew more of what we were doing and could actually see. We had to drive back into Burley to get a new tire but eventually were back on the road again and finally made it into Brigham that next afternoon. So crazy.

We took a afternoon and went up to porcupine lake where we tried to do a little fishing but the wind was blowing so bad that we had to fight the kayaks drifting so much. No fish were biting. So Dallin, Austin, jessie and I decided to go cliff jumping off the rocks. It was really high up there and it probably took me an hour before I got the guts to finally jump. But I at least did it.

This was the Meridean Temple when we left Idaho. It was just getting the front of it put up. We were so sad that we would not be there to see it get completed. We are hoping to go back for the dedication.

Boise River

Jessie had decided to dye her hair in punch over the summer which ended up making us all want to try it so all us girls dyed our tips in punch. It was fun and the color lasted a long time. In fact a year later and Jessie still has hers in. Not as dark but its still there.

Our ward in Idaho was having a Trek for the youth this year and I really wanted Austin to be able to experience one and I wasn't sure if the ward in Utah would be going before he gets out of mutual so we had decided to let him and Jessie go back and go on the trek with the ward since they had started doing some of the preperations and activities with it before we moved. Despite having some issues with his heart pains and passing out up there during one of their treks they had a blast and was so happy to have got to experience it.

It was super hard to leave my exercise buddy, my biking partner, and best friend.
We had been looking at making us some necklaces with our Iron rhino fitness group logo on it for quite some time but we just never finalized it and did it. I was just going to order it and surprise her with one, but I guess she had the same idea. Well she surprised me with one as a going away present. It's so awesome and I just miss her so much. We pushed each other at our workouts to keep going and do better. We were really good for each other. It's so hard to workout now with out her.

We got our annual end of summer Flaming Gorge trip in before school started. It was awesome as always. However it rained quite a bit up there this year.

So Allie's best friend from Michigan came down to go to BYU this year so when her family brought her down we got to go hang out with them for the day. We miss the Bourret family so much. Our girls were best friends with their girls, and Steve and Matt were best friends and served in the young mens presidency together. We did alot with their family while we lived in Michigan.

Jessie was also able to get on a soccer team down here in Utah this summer. It's nothing like her team in Idaho which she misses sooo much, but at least she is playing. She hopes to try out for the highschool team this year.

So the first day of school came and everyone was just a little apprehensive starting new schools again and having no friends.

Summer fun sleepovers with cousins.

The girls and I along with Kim and her girls decided to do a witch's night out and go to the Gardeners Villiage where they were having a Witch Festival. We decided to ride the train there and back. It was fun but the way home took 3 hours to get home because we missed one of the trains and they run every hour in the evenings so it was a late night, but at least we can say we rode it now. We made our own hats to wear. Kim is so crafty and came up with the pattern. They turned out really cute.

Staleen came out to stay with me for a couple days while she had surgery down in salt lake so I could take care of her until she could drive back home. It was so nice to see her even though we couldn't do much together because she was in bed most of the time healing.

So we got to have Aubrey come spend the weekend for her 18th birthday with us. So we tried to do our best to make her big 18th fun and at least have someone to spend it with.

Also in Nov was the Sadie Hawkins dance at School. This is a pict of him with his cute date and good friend.

So Steve picked up Hawaii as one of his new territories for work so he decided to take me with him for his first trip out to celebrate our birthdays. We stayed on the Island of Oahu. It rained all but the first day there so I was confined to the hotel room pretty much the whole time. But it was still fun to be there and relax. We needed it after building the house. It would have been nicer to have done things with Steve, but he had to work all week. He did extend his stay an extra day so we could go do something Saturday, but with the rain there wasn't much to do.

We did go snorkel on this private beach that had a reef it was a nature preserve, but the water was pretty merky due to the rain and wind. We had to fight some good surf, but it was still fun.

Activity day Greatful dinner for Logan and Malorie and their mom's. Cousins are the best. These two have always been partners in crime since they were babies. They are only 5 days apart.

So our family got put in charge of the ward Christmas party this year. Christmas 2015! Uh welcome to the ward!! With the help of our committee I think it turned out pretty good despite we ran out of food and had to use some of our food storage to add in with the mashed potatoes.

We were able to get in a trip up to Temple Square to see the lights this year. We havn't been able to do that for several years.

Starting 2016

Our one and only Ice fishing attempt this year. We just didnt get much Ice this year and the fishing sucked.

My poor little poochy. He has really started struggeling with walking with lots of arthritis in his hips. His legs wouldn't even hold him up. We thought we were going to have to put him down, however they gave him lots of pills anti inflammatories and pain pills that is making him better for the time being so that has been good. I don't know how much more time we will have with him but so glad he is still with us.

We went back up to Idaho to see Allies good friend and wishes to be her husband off for his mission. He's a great kid and we will see what happens when they get off their missions.

Our ward had a minute to win it activity for the young men and young women and now that I am back in young womens I got to be a part of it. I think the kids had a blast.

We finally got our backsplash done. I think it turned out pretty nice.

So Jessie turned 14 and I am excited she will get to be in miamaids with me now. She is becoming such a beautiful young woman. We still cant get her a real horse that she wants but we got her the next best thing. A life size one to go on her wall. She loved it. It was a nightmare to apply to her wall though.

My babies are growing up way too fast.

And this bring us to the end of this post. Of course I have a few more updates from what has happened since February, but I will make new entries for them. This has taken way to long to finally get done and published. It was quite the Summer. We are all adjusting to our new home and new schools and ward pretty well. The girls are still struggeling with the friends they left behind in Idaho and are missing them so much, but hopefully it wont take them to long to find some great friends here. It's hard for girls to make friends. We are just not as social and outgoing as Austin and Steve are. Even I have not really made a friend here yet either. I am just greatful for kim and the rest of the family here to give me something to do occasionally. I to am really missing Staleen and being able to work out with her and ride bikes with her. It's not that we did all that much together other then work out with each other, but occassionally we would get together with our husbands and go out and working out together was a big thing for us that we tried to do 6 days a week so I really miss that time. It's been really hard to stay that dedicated here. I have gotten Kim to join Iron Rhino and the gym and go with me to work out but she has had some health issues which has kept her from being able to go daily with me and then with her calling in the relief society presidency it also has her missing some days so on those days I have to go alone and sometimes I have no motivation so I dont go at all which sucks. I dont have Staleen here depending on me to go and pushing me to work harder so I am not in as good of shape as I was back in Idaho and it sucks. I really miss that. Plus my knees havnt been doing so hot lately and are getting worse and I dont want to go have another surgery. I just want to be able to run and do my workouts and it makes me so mad that I cant. UGH! Why does it have to be so hard to loose weight and be in shape.
