Wow I cant believe its been 2 years since I have been on here. Let me first say that I have been on the computer for 3 days trying to load all my pictures for the last 2 years to get caught up and I got up this morning to finish getting all the pictures loaded and start journaling and a freak thunder and lightening storm came up so I came and hit save and shut my computer down and when I started it back up everything was gone. I cant find the post anywhere and i spent 3 days for hours putting all those pictures on and putting them in the order I wanted and now I have to start all over again. I cant even begin to tell you how mad i am..
Well here we go again. So the kids were all over and looking back at some of the blog books I had made before and were like mom you need to get back to doing this and make more. I felt bad it hadnt been catching up on our life. This is my way of journaling and making photo albums at the same time. Something for my posterity to go back and see what was going on in our lifes at that time. So I got 2 years to catch up on. Lets get started.
So first we start with Jessie's 16th birthday. She couldn't wait to get her drivers license. We had to go get it during lunch.
Then, finally our missionary finished her amazing mission to Kentucky, and decided to come home despite much protest. She really tried to get her mission extended but they told her no that she had to come home. It was a long, long day. They missed their connecting flight so basically Allie had to do all the organizing of trying to help everyone get on another flight. Luckily she has a dad that was diamond status and had a little pull and was able to get her on a flight leaving earlier then what the other missionaries had to be booked on.
I think she was pretty excited to get her car. Before her mission we told her she had to help save up and pay for part of her mission, but in reality we didnt use any of her money she had saved up and used part of it as a down payment towards the car we knew she would need when she got home. Fortunatly we are in a way that we can help our kids out a bit for things like that.
One of the first things she wanted to do after getting home was go shooting with grandpa so thats what we did.
Then She really wanted us to go back to Kentucky for a visit and have us meet some of the families and people she met and became family to her while she was there. It was fun to see a state we hadnt really seen much of other then driving through on the way to florida. It was fun to see all the areas she served in and meet some very wonderful people that took care of our baby while she was there.
A pretty cool pharmacy that was there. They sell some fun shirts and hats ect with funny sayings.

We went up to a town called French lik where they had these massive grand hotels. It was so beautiful inside.
This family The Flemmings are the coolest people. They do so much for the missionaries there. He cooks amazingly and cooks the missionaries a special meal for their birthday, He goes all out. They dont have much but they still do all they can to take care of the missionaries and I am so glad we got to meet them. We had dinner with them one night and it was so good. Great people.
Got another trip floating down the Bear River .

Jessie decided to go to her junior prom with some friends. She got asked but didnt feel comfortable going with who asked her so she decided to go hang with friends that night.

Jessie tried out for the High School Soccer team again this year but unfortunately did not make it but the coach wanted her to come be the team manager which allowed her to come practice with them and go to all their activities, but just couldn't play in the games with the team which really sucked, but she really improved in her skills through practicing with them and made some friends and I think had a pretty good time being with them.
These were of the Summer retreat she went on with the team.

Then we had a trip up to long park with Kim and rich. Good times.

This one is always keeping us laughing. She is quite the character.
This was one of my favorites of her. Shes not looking at the camera or smiling but it just shows her quiet beauty.

I dont even know with this one but its logan!!

Oh these 2 crack me up.

Cant leave out my Hot husband.

My Soccer girls!

Needless to say he got a little wet trying to catch the picture. This was the most amazing beach though. I thinks its called hidden beach or something like that and it was so awesome. They have an art gallery there in downtown maui that has this beach in a gorgeous picture that I want so bad because it reminds me of our time there at that beach. Maybe someday we will get it.

view from our condo.

In this area they were having so much rainfall that they were having flooding so they had one of the main trails to a very cool waterfall closed off that was pretty dissapointing, but you can understand why when you look at just this lower area of the river that had some massive water coming through.

And let's not forget our anual Flaming Gorge trip. Movies out under the stars and boating, cliff jumping, kayaking, and incredible food. Love this trip.

First day of school. Jessie's junior year and Logans Freshman year. Didnt get one of Austin and Allie . This was Austins 2nd year at Weber State and Allie's 2nd year as well.
So our little lucky bug was starting to get pretty old and going blind and a little deaf. We knew it wouldnt be much longer before he would be leaving us or need to be put down. So to try and help ease the pain we decided to get another dog. this time we went with a havanese we found in the paper. Not sure lucky liked him to much and to maya he was just another chew toy but I think he helped lucky last a little longer and gave maya someone to play with so he wasnt to lonely. we named him Ozzie. It took us a while to finally decide on a name.

Steve had mad a little casket for him so we could bury him in our back yard. We found a nice little memorial rock with a saying we used as a head stone and got some metal roses to put out there.
And then Christmas. This was the first christmas all together in a couple years since Allie had gone on her mission. Im thinking this photo was the year before because Allie is not in it.

Cousin mike stayed with us this year for the holiday. Austin and his viking snow beard and hat.

That brings us to the end of 2018. A pretty good year I think.
