Bahamas Trip

So for Steve working so hard last year and bringing his team from last place to first place in the region they were awarded with an 5 day paid trip to the Bahamas to stay at the Atlantis Resort... WOOO HOOO!!!
My husband is so awesome.. They all worked really hard for this.. My husband even got the Apex award which is the highest award you can receive within the company. It is for 1st place District Business Manager for the entire company in the entire region or U.S  It was quite an honor.

And what was even cooler is that most of his team that he manages made the top reps for the company as well so we all got to go together as a team and that rarely happens and we probably wont ever see that happen again so it was a very awesome trip..

One of the first things we did on the island was the Dolphin Cay where we got to swim with the dolphins. This was something I have wanted to do my whole life.. I absolutely love love love dolphins.. I was even going to go into marine biology so I could study them and work with them.. However I didn't want to move away to go to school so here I am just dreaming about the what ifs.. I probably would have never ended up with Steve though so it was meant to be..

Smooching with the Dolphins..

It was so fun we would get on these boogie boards and flex our feet and the dolphin would swim up behind us and put the tip of his nose on the bottom of our foot and push us through the water.. They would get going so fast it was such a blast...

Here is the view from our rooms balcony.. Awesome isn't it?

Our room..

In the distance a disney cruise ship that is docked.. A diffrent Cruiseship came in every morning.
Atlantis...  One of the towers anyways..

Beautiful sunsets...
Awards night.

This is Steve's team that got to go with us.. There were 3 I think that did not make it with us..
This is Steve accepting his Apex Cup.. It is really big and heavy..

His team accepting their awards.

One of the many beautiful gardens around the resort.

In one of the pools were these beautiful creatures.

and some of these...

Puffer Fish.

These were some of the gorgeous chandeliers in the Casino's of Atlantis. All hand blown.

There was a turtle bay too..

They had some hammerheads too.

And some of the saw tooth sharks too.. Not sure the technical name my son could tell you but they look like a chain saw blade.

And some great whites.
More of the Cove.

Here is a better picture of all the Atlantis buildings. Throughout these diffrent building there is also little rapid rides and water slides too they were so fun but not really area we could have our camera so no pictures..  They have a lazy river ride that I think we spent most of our time just laying on big tubes and floating the river and soaking up the sun.. It was so perfect.... While there I of course had a massage and facial at the spa.. It was heavenly..

I am so bummed we did not have more pictures of some of the things we did.. We just were having so much fun and kept forgetting our camera..  There was a marina where all the million dollar boats would come and dock their boats to come stroll the shopping strips and restaurants at night. it was so fun to walk around and see all the fancy boats. the night life was amazing.  We also were able to get a couple dive's in while there and we have a disk with video but no picts to post. :((
We were able to dive one of the sunken ships from the james bond movies. We got to see some great spotted eagle rays and an octopus and tons of tropical fish.. We did a 100 ft dive which is our biggest depth dive yet..  lots of fun.. There is nothing like being under the water with the sea life..

Stay tuned lots more summer activities to catch up on....
